I'm the proud owner of a 1981 Catalina 25. However my wife is getting exasperated over sewing those pesky track slides on new curtains. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacing the curtains using a different system
I'm looking for a solution too, my old curtains have died and I ordered some shades from Catalina Direct, but after 2-1/2 months I still don't have them. I called them several times over the last 3 weeks and today they finally told me they don't have a supplier anymore. They said they would call when they find a new supplier and ask if I still want the shades. As it has already been so long, I'm dubious that they will find a supplier in a reasonable amount of time, so I'm looking for other options. Does anyone know of another source?
I found a small business online called Silver Threads, someone who mostly does curtains for Airstream trailers. There are a lot of pictures on the website- very nice work. I emailed her to ask if she could do my sailboat curtains. I'll let you know when I hear back from her.
