Jim/Jill, as we have to raise/lower the mast every trip, we have it down (after a year :).
The 'Baby Stays' only have a few turns on the turnbuckle and that is an issue, especially when the mast support on the transom is off to one side as it is on a boat with wheel steering. So I came up with this idea that works a treat.
Hi Jim, There are some differences out there. Mine are two different sizes, one is almost a foot longer that the other. When looking at the slots on my mast one slot is about a foot higher than the slot on the other side. I can't recall off the top of my head which side is longer.
