Woeful lack of time for this passion makes the sale of our "Bella Fiore" necessary. She's an 86 standard rig, hull #5437, with original main and a fairly fresh 110 jib, new standing rig package from Catalina direct (no backstay though). The keel was removed for maintenance two seasons ago, sandblasted and barrier coated, soundness of swing mechanism checked. Keel cable replaced at this time as well. This boat has never been in salt water, has no blisters, but needs a good sanding and bottom painting. There are some other areas where she needs attention, but none which are life threatening. Interior and cushions are in good shape, generally. She has a pop top, and I do have the canvas although I haven't used it and can't vouch for it's condition.

Boat is currently located in Connelly New York, where I bought her 4 seasons ago. There is a trailer which is included in the deal but which has only served as a winter stand due to a previous owner neglecting to register and title same. It would require some refurbishing and new tires to take it anywhere, and it's a throw in on the sale if you want it.

Reality being what it is, we are asking a modest 5,500.00 for all above, including an old but reliable Merc 9.8 2 cycle motor. For the uninitiated, Connelly is across the Rondout Creek from Kingston,NY on the Hudson River. Any Questions or to see the boat on hard, please feel free to e-mail me. Thanks, and fair winds!

Ron and Sheyla on s/v Bella Fiore-86 S/K SR #5437. Life's too short not to sail!

In retrospect I feel that I've understated the case and perhaps made the potential buying audience nervous.... This boat IS basically sound, has cushions, anchors, winches etc in good shape- two battery harness is installed. Just a bit of caulk and cleaning and she's good to go! (I'll be undertaking these things myself next week and into the future until she sells.) Truthfully, the market is depressed down here, which is the main reason for the price....thanks!
