OK here it is! Purchased just a few short weeks ago new and now is on the market. I'm asking $425 for her and she includes the "fender" modifications for stability. They work great. I just wish my back was in better condition to row this.
Pickup only unless you can think of a way to get to you. I can help with delivery in the N.E. Ohio area. Have pickup, will travel!

I ran into a gentleman who said he has the sail kit at home somewhere in his garage. He said if he finds it he will give it to me. He believes it is the kit offered by walker bay years ago. We will see.

Turk, I will buy it. I will be in Manchester Iowa at the end of the month to pick up our C250. Can you get it to there? Will it fit upside down in the cockpit of the C250? Randy

Well, thats 623 miles one way! Over a 24 hours of driving both ways.

I just went to their website. I didn't realize they shipped oversized stuff. It is quite resonable also - $70 for this dinghy to Iowa. They don't go to every town, but they hit the major cities, Youngstown, ohio has a terminal.
Turk, $425 is a really fair price, maybe beyond fair. How are the local nibbles going? I find it hard to believe you can't sell it without having to ship it. How far was it to Wichita when you bought Forgiveness? You know who has a Hobie Tiger for sale now.

Well, I guess I'll be on my way to Witchita again!!! 1000 miles one way for a c250 - what an adventure. Hobie you say? F1? Wow! I've already left! Maybe I'll drop off the dinghy on the way!
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"><i>Originally posted by Nautiduck</i> <br />Turk, how about we split the $70 if you can Grayhound it to Manchester Iowa? Randy <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
I'm already selling it for $400 not $425 as I said in the other thread. Let me vist our local Greyhound terminal tomorrow and see just exactly what it will cost and if they can take it. Look at the greyhound site and find out what the closest city with a terminal is for you. There is about 10-12 in the state. None in Manchester. We can work something out I'm sure.
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"><i>Originally posted by Nautiduck</i> <br />Turk, looks like Waterloo is close and it looks like they have a freight section. If it's OK with Flubber that is. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
Alright, let me check tomorrow. I'll run down to the terminal and see what they say. I can bag the oars and partsw and duct tape them inside.
Oh, to answer your question, you should easily be able to strap it into the cockpit for transport. Now, lifting it up there will be the challenge. It's about 70 lbs. I guess just pulling it up with a rope would work.
Now, fhopper, I just want it out of my pool, I have to close the pool for the winter! I sent Vic a message about his F1 - told him I'm on my way!
I am glad that Grayhound will work for you guys, I had a good friend of mine that lived across the country when I was 14. I raced a 12 speed and it had to go with me for vacation. Needless to say that no one wanted to ship a bike. My friend's dad told me to ship it using Grayhound, now anything oversized goes by the bus. Glad I could help.
Turk, one more isue to deal with. The WB is 8' 3" long by 4' 4" wide. Will that fit in the cockpit? I am concerned because our new C250 has wheel steering. I will be there next Friday to measure. Does anyone else know that dimension??
The Admiral likes the dink so we are a definite go if it fits!

Are you getting a wing keel? It might fit on the trailer under the boat.
