Today I walked my dock and noticed a C25 that I haven't noticed before. As I looked closer, I noticed on the mast a Catalina 25 National Association decal with 1990 on the side of the decal. The decal was in good shape to be 16 years old. Next time down I'll get a picture of it. Did at one time the association send out annual decals?

I go back to '96 with the association and the sec/treasure at that time was sending stickers. '90 would have been prior to the association web site.

Hi Tom,

The answer to your question is "yes". In 1990 - it was a one time deal - the association did send out an Association decal for all new and re-newing members.

Tom,

I had collected those stick ons starting in 1992 and cherished the '92 one since it is the only one that is still on my boat. The others were of a different composition and have since washed away.

I kinda like the idea of their use and think the current association might give a thought to starting the practice of issuing them again.
