I think it would be helpful to add manuals for common boat fittings or fixtures, such as the CDI FF2 furler manual (http://www.sailcdi.com/sailpdf/FF2%20manual%204.04.pdf). Similarly the Whale Pumps, Edson Steering, even porta-potties. If those PDF files could be included on the forum server, it would prevent the problem of the manufacturers relocating their URLs.

Are there any forum restrictions? How would I add manuals?

That is a great idea and a simple email to manufacturer's would probably determine what we can and can't do. Often the manufacturers prefer a link to a PDF. Please go ahead and run with this, this is how associations get better, people like you with ideas like that. Contact any of we officers when you are ready to have something posted.

Frank, I emailed CDI and they sent an enthusiastic reply that they really encourage forums like ours to make the manuals available. They did request pointing to their website so they can update the manual and we will have the latest. The web site for the CDI FF2 Flexible Furler is http://www.sailcdi.com/sailpdf/FF2%20manual%204.04.pdf . What is the next step to add this to the Manuals and Brochures page?

Done - Check the bottom of the brochures and manuals page. Please send me via email the letter from the mfg so that we can keep it on file.
