Hello everyone,
As some of you know I travel for work and I just happen to be in Portland OR tonight and for the next day or so.
Can anyone suggest any good places to go while I’m furloughed for a few hours tonight and tomorrow for a few hours?
I would like to find a local Marine Consignment store to go and browse around. Any ideas?
Any good restaurants you can recommend?
Thanks,
Dan
ps. the weather is absolutely gorgeous right now.

Dan,
It really doesn't sound like you have enough time. However, a trip to Seaside on the coast is about 90 minutes away and is a great place to enjoy the coast.

There are a couple of West Marines in Portland. A good place to hangout is along the Willamette River near the Marriott. A nice walkway, shops and places to eat. If you like seafood look up Jake's. Have fun.

Dan,

Call me at 503-693-7266 and I've give you the scoop, directions, etc. About your only choice, because of time of day, is a really large West Marine near Delta Park.

Wish I knew you would be here earlier, we could have gone sailing.

Of course I am on a total work deadline, so I am kind of glad I didn't know. But next time, let me know earlier and we'll get you on the water.
