Hi, Folks,

The Navy says it's time for me to move on, and I can't take Pandora with me. So, a pretty good boat is up for grabs at a rock-bottom price.

- 1980 Catalina 25 swing keel hull #2154. Never hit or grounded. Hull is extremely sound.
- New 9.9 Tohatsu 4-stroke, electric start, alternator, less than 10 hours on it ($2200 motor!)
- Trailer
-Full-batten main in like-new condition. 135 genoa on roller-furler. Assymetrical chute and poles. Also includes original main and jib in good condition.
-Wheel steering
-Two new batteries
-New AM/FM/CD player
-New charting GPS/bottom sounder
-New hand-held VHF
-Butane gimballed stove
-porta-potti, safety equipment, two anchors, Long Island Sound chart books, many parts/accessories

- Due for bottom paint.
- Never been painted above waterline. OK as is, but would shine up with a new paint job.
- teak has no varnish. I liked it gray; you might not.
- Previous owner installed a diesel inboard. I removed it when it seized up, but the shaft and featherless prop are still installed. Center of rear berth was cut to mount engine behind companionway steps. OK as is, but should/could be repaired to put it back the way it was.
-Main cabin cushion covers are homemade.
- Trailer is rough. Needs new brakes and lights for a long-distance haul.

Boat is in the water at the Thames River Marina (Submarine Base New London). I've sailed it to Block Island; it's a good sound boat in need of some cosmetics to make it great. Photos available.
