I'm considering having UV-resistant strips sewed onto the 135. Would anyone venture to recommend a sail loft that will do good work for a reasonable cost?
I use sacrificial UV resistant white dacron rather than sunbrella, my sail maker is Ullman of Ventura but any loft should do it for you. As for price, this is a good time of year beacuse of the winter slow down, don't wait.
Any loft will do. This is their slow time for work up this way. Start Calling now. Shipping costs will get you though, so try to find somebody somewhat local.
Suggest a signature file appropriate to your rank, SIR. You are, after all, the leader of the free (25' Catalina sailing) world! We need to know when to salute!

I have never shown rank, neither as secretary nor Vice Commodore, nor even as Catalina 25 Tech Editor for two years. Personal preference; I post A LOT and as an inland lake sailor much of what I post does not hold for other sailors. I am concerned that if I show rank it somehow adds credibility to what I say for novice owners, (you old guys know better), and I don't think what I say should carry anymore weight than what others say. I was thinking about getting a shirt that says Commodore on it.
Duane, can you create new post count catagories so the officers and staff would show the stars of their longevity but have the title of their office? That would be subtle enough that I would be ok with it.
