1986 Swing Keel Standard Rig hull #5413 for sale $7,200. No trailer. Pop-top with nice pop-top cover. Traditional interior with porta-potti. 2002 Suzuki 9.9 4-stroke engine with electric start (and alternator so it charges the batteries). Runs great! Bimini added 2004. New batteries in 2004. 5 sails total. (hank on jibs) Main and 155 genoa new in 2001. Original main and 110 jib still in useable condition, and a storm jib. 4 winches total, 2 self-tailers on coamings, 2 smaller winches on cabin top (halyards led aft). New keel cable, winch and turning ball in 2004. Keel very nice / no "clunk". I've always kept good zincs on the keel. I just replaced the lower gudgeon (Oct.2006). Depth sounder, VHF radio, shore power, and 110v battery charger. Alcohol stove (I've never tried to use it, it may be just fine). All interior cushions look like new! (factory grey crushed velvet nice pattern).
This boat was first registered in Oklahoma in late 1987. It stayed in OK until 2001, when the person I bought it from was transferred to Savannah GA. The prior owner had a complete bottom job done to repair for blisters (strip bottom, applied vinylester resin and then barrier coat.) First put in salt water in 2002 and carefully maintained since. I believe it was very well maintained before I purchased it, too. No blisters have appeared since. I paid $6,900 for it in 2002, then immediately had to buy a new engine ($2,500++). I have painted the bottom <s>twice </s> now three times since I bought it using the best paint I could buy. I use Trinidad SR paint. The boat is currently in the water in Hilton Head SC.
I'm selling because I don't use it enough to justify the dockage fees. I don't really mind though because it is a nice boat, but the admiral is concerned about the finances. I'm a part-time captain and get paid to sail other people's boats.
The next maintenenace issues are: 1- Reseal or replace the two plastic windows in the head (they leak). 2- Refinish the brightwork. 3- Replace the turning blocks on the cabin top.
