I just purchased a 2003 C250 WK. The manual says you can remove the (HUGE)dinette table and stow but it doesnt say how to remove it. Ok, what is the trick?

Congratulations! The table lifts off the aluminum tube. The tube just pulls straight up out of the floor. Stow both in the front bow compartment under the boards that support the bow cushions. Or better yet, store it in your basement and make a table half the size.
Turk, I assumed it was easy but didnt want to break my my toy! Thanks so much. I have seen what others have done to that table and cutting the size in half is a wonderful idea. See you out in the high seas.... Steve
At this years strictly boat show, the designer said that they may be incorporating a table similar to that found in the C309 (very nicely finished tables there If they do, I would expect it to be sometime in 07. The standard table sucks! heavy, awkward, too big, has a laminate surface, and storing it in the bow makes the storage there useless. Still working on my new design.
Check out my table mod pics in Tech Tips, C250, last entry:
Easy Cabin Table Project by Frank Farmer. March 2006.
Material: 2' X 3' piece of 3/4" marine ply, 10' of narrow oak strips, 2 coats of Man O' War Spar Varnish.
Cut wood per pic, attach oak fiddles with ss screws, apply varnish. Stow the factory table in its slot under the V berth cushions. The white box attached under the front of the table is a 3 drawer plastic container for silverware, etc.
