I am getting ready to put my boat up for sale and I thought I would start here before I went through other sites. I have a 1983 Cat-25 Tall rig, wing keel. (For those experts out there, there was no wing keel in 1983 but the PO did a retrofit). The boat is in Lawrence, KS near Kansas City. I will list it at $13500. I am moving to a bigger boat. Since 2005 I have added:

New sails, Main and jib
New CDI Roller furler
New Canvas cover
New sail covers
New cockpit and cabin cushions
New CD player and speakers (inside and out)
New water lines
New electrical panel
New tires for trailer (4 tires)
New 9hp outboard motor

I am putting boat referenced in the above message on sale at variuos websites this week. I realized I was too high with the price and will be posting it at around $10,500. Even though I have put about $5000 extra into it since I bought it, it looks like the going price out there for a wing keel, tall rig is between 8,000 and 12,000. I do have a trailer and a fairly new motor. This site has always been a great place to get advice and I know you folks love your boats. I am moving up to a bigger boat so I can get all my kids and grandkids on at one time. The boat is CTYK3560M83E. The trailer was custom made by the PO and is a 1994 Arrow.
