Hello fellow sailors -
Once again, I'm on the lookout for a mid-80's Cat25 in the Northeast. Even though we're frozen in right now, it won't be long 'til "Ice Out".

I'd like to pick up a clean and well maintained boat I can start sailing this April, preferably with a trailer - so I can get 'er back home.

I'd like to have it before March 31 and priced between $6k-$8k.
You can reach me on bruce_ross@sbcglobal.net or (203)378-9780.

Thanks to all.

- Bruce Ross

Bruce,

On the long shot that you might also consider a Capri, I know a few for sale. One exceptional one in Virginia that was stored indoors for 10 years and has a trailer that's only a few years old.

Any interest in a 1979? I am selling mine in Maine see my post. Less money than a mid 80s so you invest in a trailer or new sails.

I've got a 78 in Cleveland. The boat is well maintained but does have some of the dings you might expect in an almost 30 year boat. Please take a look here..

I do not have a trailer, but there might be a number of options regarding how we can get it there. Please give me a call - Even if you don't want mine I will be more than happy to answer any of your questions regarding any C25 you might be looking at.

Duane

To all who responded to my request during the frost, chills, snows & ice of February -

Many thanks. I wanted you all to know that a very wonderful guy offered a '85 Catalina 25 that is a gem. I purchased it on Friday and since then have been sanding, painting, preening - all the sounds, sights and smells of spring in the boatyard!

I'm looking forward to, hopefully, a long sailing season in CT. Anything past Columbus Day is a plus!

Best of luck to all.
