Hi Dave
do you know the differences in outside diamater, and the height of the drum?
I have a Lewmar 6 on my cabin top on my 89, and it sits inside a recess. If the Lewmar 7 winch is bigger in diamater, it wouldn't work. But I would like a taller winch.
By the way, what is your plan for a 6 vs a 7?

Frank. Frank has it right. 4 1/4 diam. 4 h. I'm using it on the cabin top. Have a 6 on stbd. seems adequate for all my purposes. I would like to put a 6 on port cabintop instead of using the 7.
