I received this in an email today, and obviously they promote their products whenever they can, but even so this check list appears to be pretty comprehensive and hopefully useful. Enjoy.

Select the 'Spring Re-commissioning'.

Hi Duane,

When I click on the URL I included, I do get a list of scrollable/selectable items, one of which is 'Spring Re-commissioning'.

You don't get the same results?

Hi John,

Coincidently I've been looking at and thinking about the Aurora VS721 bottom wax vs. painting the bottom. Has anyone had any experience with this product (VS721 bottom wax) in freshwater?? In a higher altitude freshwater lake, would this be a substitute for bottom painting or should a person just bite the bullet and paint??

Yes I got the same results, however your link was to the main forum page - mine went directly to the checklist

Steve, There are several WB boats who have never had the bottom painted, mine included S/N 89. It is only been in the water 5 months out of every year since 1995. I do CLEAN the bottom every fall and wax it faithfully in the spring. Like yours this is very pristine water in upstate New York.

With a list like that I'd never get any sailing done!
Right now my list includes changing the broken anchor line chock and reattach my bow light (with it stuck out on the pulpit it is the first thing to go). And replace my hatch board hasp where apparently someone decided to see what was in my cabin.

So after a night out on the water last Friday my to-do list just got longer.
1) Spreader deck light is full of water... works intermitantly. (how can a sealed beam get water in it?)
2) motor anti-lock mechanism failed when I went to back into my slip. Probably just needs lubricating.
3) Just had the bottom repainted last Sept. but will want to scrub it good.
4) Galley and Head pottable water pumps need new seals as they leak out the handles.
5) really wish I could find out why the Princess LPG stove does not want to stay lit. It burns great at first. But if it goes out I have to hold the ignitor a long time before it will keep burning.
6) my motor hick-ups for awhile. But finally it gets to running full throttle. Must be some trash in the carborater.
7) I still need to install my curtain in the head. The Admiral made some to match the cabin. It seems when ever I rafted up with the fleet they are on my port. Not a pretty picture. So I've been using tape to hold the curtain up.
8) I need to reroute my solar panel wire so it is not just hanging.
9) My AutoTiller is out of commision. It has a broken piece inside so I am thinking I should just get a new one rather than Superglue it. A new one will have better software I would think.
10) And while I am at it I might as well get a new tiller. The old one was with for the old rudder and does not quite mate up with the 3rd generation rudder so it bottoms out on the fuel locker. I have already refinished it once before.
11) I want to raise the stern light from the factory installed place to the top of the stern pulpit seat where it would be more visible and not behind the motor when it is in the up position

Shall I go on?
