In reference to my comment in the swap meet... The irregular floor in a traditional interior Catalina 25 seems irrational; it does not make sense. Once someone sees the dinette interior and the fact that the low spot at the galley and low sole to the head are the only places not part of the dinette area then it makes sense.

...although there is a very small (2"?) step up from the aisle to the area under the dinette table (not visible in that pic). Rational?
