I just got the WM "New Gear" March catalog. They are selling the Nicro Day/Night Plus Solar Vents for $50 off. 3" size is $90 and 4" size is $110. They have internal on/off switch and belowdecks shut off damper. If you are thinking of a solar vent this is a very good deal. Not online, must call 1-800-BOATING to order.

Where'd you find this sale price listed? I just got the WM flyer and they're not listed. I need two four inchers, so could stand to save a few bucks.

I'll reply tomorrow with the details. It isn't a brochure, it is a small catalog with 20 pages or so. I left it at work but will check and give you the info. Do you want the white plastic or stainless steel? Both are the same price.

The catalog is titled "New Gear" and is 76 pages. The Nicro 4" stainless steel model # is 7868516 with a regular price of $159.99 and a sale price of $109.99. It is on page 41.

FYI, if you spend $150 or more you get a free 30 piece tool set. If you spend $250 or more you get a free 175 piece tool set.

This price is not available online or at the stores, just from this mini-catalog. They must be trying out some new marketing stuff.

I was going to go with white plastic to blend in with the boat. Is the SS more durable?

Those are some good prices for the Nicro's.

Has anyone checked out the [url="http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&classNum=12407&subdeptNum=12406&storeNum=12&productId=149254"]ICP solar day/night vent[/url]? WM says they push 1200cfm (Nicro 1000cfm) and Defender has them for $99.99.
