I recently converted from powerboats to sail and already I’ve been through one C25 and working on my second, but that is a much longer story for a later time. What I need to find out is if there is a source for the 3/8 eyebolts for the stays. I know that one of the recommendations is to replace the 3/8 with ½ eyebolts, but I only have one eyebolt broken and I simply would like to try my hand at sailing to see if I like it before I do all the upgrades. I have a 1979 ‘L’ shaped dinette that had some deck damage from a rogue wave and a night of riding under the dock. It is currently having the damage repaired but it will need a stanchion and bow pulpit before it is sea worthy and it will need a paint job before it is visitor worthy but all in due time!

If you need only one, give me yor addres and I'll ship you one. I purchased all new ones and still have the old ones here somewhere. If you want it, you can have it. They were fresh water use only and look like brand new.
Be carefull, you might like sailing and then the cost really goes up

Dan's offer sounds good, but Catalina Direct will generally sell individual parts from the kits it puts together. Get to know them, and get their C-25 Owner's Handbook--probably the best $10 you'll spend on your boat. It's mostly a catalog, but also includes many ideas for upgrading the boat. Once you have it, they send you free updates every year or two.

Welcome to the forum. I'm just down the way in Daytona Bch. This IS the place for C-25 info. I think if you give sailing a chance you'll fall in love. Enjoy the wind and the waves!

I would greatly appreciate and happily pay you for one of the eyebolts. I already tried Catalina Yachts and CD with no response. I can't say as I blame them. There’s not much profit in one eyebolt.

Paul,
I found this site while trying to get info on the C25. I have been lurking about reading posts and tech info and am amazed at what knowledge is available. I used info available on the tech pages about the hull and keel measurements (along with the help of the local Fleet captain) to fabricate risers for a roll-on trailer and the boat fit perfectly the first time.

The first thing I did after buying my boat was to get a CD 'Owner’s Manual'. I have more things on mental lay-a-way than I will ever be able to afford.
