The paint job on 0029 is in bad order. There were sections of paint falling off. So I began the long process of stripping the paint. I started using a chemical stripper then I noticed I could scrape all the layers off with a razor blade, dry. It took 8hr. and 8 blades to remove all the paint on the port side and transom. I have more to do but sure got off to a great start. And my arms are tired!

Holy tie-dyed American flag, Batman! So what color the next time--chartreuse?

I'm looking at the white gel coat thinking the DPO was trying to hide something.

The area of gel that looks like a repair is actually where I started with the chemical stripper. So far, there is no damage to the hull at all. The gelcaot is highly crazed.
There is, however, an orange boot and cove stripe. Maybe that's what they were trying to cover up. It is ugly. I'm not doing orange.
