Well...not completely true but....being one of the few on the waters thru the winter (except when the Potomac froze over for a month), it has been mostly the Coast Guard boats and I. Now as things have been warming up a bit, the other boats are starting to show up...spring has sprung.

Interesting thing this year is that on two moccasions, so far, I am seeing other Catalina 25s on the water in twos and threes with sometimes hardly any other boast on the water except for perhaps the Flyinbg scots that the college team races. Given there are so many other popular sailboats manufactured including the overwhelming number of cat 22s, i was really surprised two weeks ago to see just 3 Catalina 25s ( a 3000 series and then 2 5000 series) out and basically no other sailboats ! Last night, there were the Flying Scots close in near the Wash Sailing marina waters but out in the Potomac, perhaps two other sailboasts and then 2 Catalina 25s (mine is a 5820 and there was another in the low 5000 numbers !
