Found a larger boat and regrettably must part with this one. She has served me well on six 2-3 week singlehanded trips these past three years.

"Oak Bay" is a lightly used MkII C25 set up for singlehanded cruising in Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands - no hull blisters, epoxy barrier coat, stored under a tarp off season in eastern Oregon, near Burns. Lives on her trailer in the yard when not sailing.

Fin Keel/Standard Rig #3944 - Clean title, current OR registration

Traditional interior, hanging locker opposite head, Force 10 2 burner propane galley stove (2006) and propane BBQ, with propane bottles, regulator and shut-off in dedicated cockpit fuel locker (not in the lazerette) - kept the "curtain burner" if you want it

Pop Top with factory enclosure - appears never used

Main, 110, 150 - all in good condition, ALL lines led aft - single line reefing - easy to sail solo

2005 8 HP Honda 4-cycle "Classic" long shaft with charging circuit, on stainless retracting mount, 6 gallon Perko fuel tank

Marinco shore power, with 110 volt panel, GFCI outlets (2004)
2 - Group 24 Deep Cycle batteries (2006), marine 2 bank battery charger, battery switch, voltmeter, AM/FM Cassette with antenna

Compass, depth, speed & log, VHF with masthead antenna, Autopilot

A-frame mast raising system with fabricated "mast up" set in aft
cockpit sole and side guys. I've raised and lowered the mast solo some 10-12 times without incident.

Self-tailing winches for jib sheets, one halyard winch on cabin top ahead of halyard clutches, single line reefing, Cunningham, boom vang and jib downhaul via cam cleats - stock traveler, topping lift, outhaul, split backstay tensioner and mainsheet arrangements

Removed marine head and stinking holding tank that was leaking, but deck fitting, vent and seacock still in place. Sealand 5 gallon port-a-potty secured in head.

Exterior teak treated with Tuf-shield and it really shines. Interior teak varnished around companion way, sink trim, ladder, bilge boards and icebox cover. Oil finish on remainder of interior teak.

All required safety equipment - passed USCG boarding and inspection in 2005 (might need flares?) - fenders, dock lines, 2 winch handles, boat hook, canvas covers, anchor & rode, bow roller, windex - all the usual stuff

Tandem axle Trail-rite never in salt water - clean title, currently licensed, surge brakes, new 12PR "F" load tires (2003), bearing buddies, removable nose wheel, 16' tongue extension and aircraft cable for launching - I've always used slings

Delivery negotiable - Current BoatUS "Agreed Value" $12,500
Check out the 1983 sistership at Windworks in Seattle for $12,000 without a trailer.

Email jsheaston@centurytel.net or call 541 493-2351 for complete equipment listing, pictures and information

I have certainly appreciated all the great advice, generosity, opinions and insight gained from this site.

Thanks

Jack

My favorite configuration, and it sounds like yours has been nicely upgraded--best of luck! (See you on the Admiralty forum?)

Greetings

First Thing tomorrow morning, Oak Bay is headed to "The Sailing Life" brokerage in Portland along the Columbia River at Hayden Island.

Anyone in the western Oregon or Washington areas that is interested, can see the boat there, without the 5-8 hour drive to Burns.

Best regards to all you Catalina 25 folks. Great boats! I have sure loved this one.
