Couldn't find the post about the elbow in the C250 bilge pump tube end, but what a great mod.

Get's my vote on the easiest most effective mod for the C250.

It took 10mins to:
Remove the hose from the end filter.
Cut the scraggy end off the hose.
Cut about 8" of hose off the end.
Rebed the filter to one end of the cutoff
Fit a 1" Plastic elbow ($0.78) on the other end of the elbow.
Fit the end of the tube from the pump to the other side of the elbow.
Tape all three joints with rigging tape.
All done.


So whoever posted the mod with the elbow and red tubing - Kudos!

Please bump the article.

I'm thinking this has something to do with a bilge pump?

Does adding an elbow to something improve something?
