Just thought it might be nice to share this with everyone...
This is our first season with our Cat 25 SR/Sk....and thanks to
everyone and all the good info we learned so much over the winter
and early spring getting her ready.Last weekend we spent THE most
wonderful 4 days of our lives sailing in Narragansett Bay area.We left
Newport in heavy airs and headed north to Wickford and stayed at a
nice little marina and enjoyed a postcard sunset. Next morning, out and north again to Bristol.Nice fresh wind from the south, sailing on a run wing and wing with the pole out for the first time....so sweet!!!Picked up a mooring in Bristol and went into town to the Herreshoff museum...a MUST SEE! Then it's pizza time....and back to the boat. First time ever sleeping at a mooring...like a dream!Wish we could have stayed here forever! Next morning south after breakfast all the way down to Dutch Harbor....7 hours of closehauled tacking and beating against BIG waves and heavy wind but what a "drill school" that was! Arrived safely and had another gorgeous nite at a mooring. Next and last day....out into the Sound for some wild sailing on the big sea swells...again incredible!!Then back to Newport to return sadly.....WE ARE HOOKED!!!!!!!!

I wanna do that!! All we have here on Western L.I. Sound (on the weekends) is big boat wakes coming from every direction. We're still not used to being so high off the water and being tossed around like that. (Our Daysailer would just sail THROUGH them. )
