i dropped one of my winch tops in the water while cleaning it.

Try contacting Minney's Yacht surplus - make sure whatever he might have hasn't been beaten death with saltwater

They still sell 7s but they are a new design; I think you just bought a winch.

One of my winches, actually just the drum, lies on the bottom somewhere around my slip.
