If I were installing a fixed mount bimini (mine is mounted on track cars), I'd install a second set of deck mounts somewhere aft so the bimini can be stowed standing straight up between the mainsheet and backstay. When stowed, my bimini is out of the way bungeed to the backstay.
While considering a bimini, it occurs to me it might/could/would interfere with egress moving forward to deal w/ whatever needs attention forward. How has it worked for any of you w/ one? Thanks!

Yes, a bimini somewhat restricts movement forward, but it really is not that big a deal. I have a dinette interior and use the aft seatback as a step while going back and forth. Also, you can pop one of the forward bimini straps and walk along the side deck.
Although I wouldn't do it on my boat, some have said they walk around the outside of the bimini to go forward.
I finished mine yesterday. I bought Cadet Grey Sunbrella because my interior is Cadet Grey Sunbrella; while sailing it all matches, at the dock it looks odd. I tried to get a blue boot but that was too hard for the "system". http://homepage.mac.com/fhopper/PhotoAlbum156.html
Looks good Frank. I like your idea of using a separate set of mounts on the stern pulpit. That's another good option other than using the genoa track cars, especially since the newer C-25s don't have the track going all the way back.
