Pretty cool After you launch, you could put it in the aft berth and take it with you.

Might work on Smith Island, MD, where the entire place is about 6" above MHW--some of it negative"... Just park at the end of the road and wait for the tide to come in.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but make sure you have 10% of the weight on the hitch.

A smart car weighs 1400 lbs. The tongue weight of a cat 250 with the trailer is about 400-600 lbs? That's about half! LOL.

I'm with tinob, turn it around and make it into a dingy. Make sure you close the windows.

Tom, didn't you have a pic showing how to tow a boat with a vehicle not having a tow hitch?

btw, has anybody seen 'top gear', i think. on bbc america?
last night, monday(09/03), they had a challenge where they had to
take some 'old' vehicle and make it amphibious, i.e., drive
from pt. a so many miles to pt. b, put into water and sail/motor
to point c and dock their boat and then drive their car out.

can't tell you how funny it was, but the guy who made his car
into a sail boat, beat his rivals, he was at least 2 hrs behind
the lead.
1. toyata pickup w/ 250 hp outboard on tailgate. sank at finish
line because he couldn't turn.
2. vw van with engine driven in/outboard. sank almost immediately.

sorry for 'slight' off topic deviation.
