I sent off my check for the Ericson 32. I'll get it loaded up for transport the weekend of Sep 22-23 in Punta Gorda to ship it to Knoxville. You may have seen my post in the general forum. Someone actually knew how to import pics from yachtworld. Must be great to know about computers. In case anyone knows the Punta gorda area, I have to move the boat from Burnt Store marina to Gaspirilla on Sunday. I hope that a friend of mine can go as I'll learn really quick how to single hand that beast if he doesn't
posting the pics is real easy.... Here is a quick three step process.
1. Every picture on the web has a web address. Most of these addresses are visible if you know where to look. (not all are) Find a pic on the web, right-click on it and select properties. You will see the address in that dialog box that pops up. Try it with bristles little map picture above.
2. Copy that address
3. replacing the parenthesis () with Brackets [] paste that copied address into your post between (img) paste here (/img)
1. Do what he says to "copy" the address: right-click the picture, select "Properties", hightlight the "Address", right-click, and select "copy". (The address starts with "http" and generally ends with "jpg".) The address is now in the invisible Windows Clipboard.
2. Go into your post, click to place the cursor somewhere, right-click and select "paste". The address appears where the cursor was. (It's magic.)
3. Highlight the address you just pasted, and then click the button in the header. That puts the "img" thingies before and after the address, causing it to appear as a picture instead of an address in your post.
You're done.
(Edit: If you have a Mac, it's a little different--I'll have to defer to a Mac user.)
