I realize that you're looking for a previously enjoyed one, but I did a lot of research and this is the best priced one that I found on the net. I haven't yet made the buy but, this is where I'll order mine. (Understand, that I know nothing of the company other than what's on their website.) I don't think you'll find a used one in "excellent condition" for much less.
Just curious, I thought I'd get a track to mount it but rail mount is interesting. Which rail do you plan to use? The catbird forward stanchion or the stanchion at the forward end of the cockpit? I'd think a "quick release" rail mount might be a good option to move the bimini forward and aft depending on where you want the shade.
I have the standard Sunbrella bimini and it is in very good condition. I don't know what "rail mount" means. Ours is attached at two points on the coaming and then leads go fore and aft. Might be interested in some sort of trade on the EZ Steer.
John, thanks for the link. The prices seem very good. I have not seen exactly what rail to connect but the ability to move with quick disconnect is great idea. I did not want to drill in coaming for sure. I know it sounds crazy to be looking for bimini now with winter coming but I live in SoCal and we never have winter plus Xmas is coming up and I was hoping to add it to my list since I have been a pretty good boy this year. Hoping Santa feels the same. Steve
Just curious why the reluctance to drill in the coaming. I have folding padeyes mounted on the coaming for tethering and people mount winches there too. With proper mounting and calking there is no leaking at all.
