<font color="blue"><font size="4"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Just checked the conditions for the day on http://bis.apl.washington.edu/bis_home.php and it looks good and the sun is out so.... As usual I have my computer on to help me remember where I go, so here is the record map....it also records date, time, course, distance, speed and alot more data things I have not used and or understand how to use.
I was on my way to Cypress Head on Cypress Island to check out the mouring bouys available when I noticed this cross section on the cliff on Guemes Island .
Well I'm going to zero in on that portion that looks like a old stream bed.
Now I'm getting excited and remembering that geology class I took at UC Davis in the 60's.........
Wow.....I think I see a bone sticking out center right in the stream bed. I was going to anchor and take the dinghy in to the shore to get a better look but forgot the gas tank. Maybe next week I will explore this. Just one of the many things on my list to do.
On my way back to port something catches my eye moving on the rocks on Cap Sante look out.
I changed the camera zoom to the oldman with bad eyes setting.... and low and behold I think it's a deer feeding . What a rock climber this deer is. I can't tell if it is a male or female though.... any guess's?
Back at the slip, I just jumped off the boat to tie the bow line and in flew this bird right behind me. I don't know what kind of bird it is but it sure was big.
Finished with this story and the Sun is out so down to the boat and replace that fraid 1/4 inch line on the Dutchman reefing system.
