Well, the end of my first full year of owning my C25 is coming to an end. I bought mine in Nov. 2006. Spent all spring and the first two month of summer working on the boat. It was nice to get it covered this falll with very little trouble. In the spring I will only need a new Genoa and motor bracket. I have a few other things i would like to do, but nothing that has to be accomplished. Below is a You Tube video I put together of most of my pictures through the rehab process and getting in some sailing before the year was done. Hoping to put in sometime in April. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rp6hjm99LWw Again this wouldn't have been so easy without everyone's help.
Congratulations on your purchase. I watched your movie which was great as was the song selected which seemed appropriate as everything, "Came Together". I think that yours is actually a Catalina 250: the Catalina 25' will not fit on a bunk style trailer due to the 4' keel, and when the movie showed the underside a retractable keel was visible. She does look nice. Welcome to the association, good luck and favorable winds!
Chris: Nice slide show, and great work on the boat and the trailer!
Samuel: That's definitely a C-25 Swing Keel (SK) model. You won't find any teak on the exterior of a C-250, nor the closed transom. Also missing there is the "Hunter windshield".
