Hi Folks,
Happy New Year.
My 85 Ericson 32 came with a CNG stove/oven. It was the old Safgas system out of California. The stove is a Seward/hillerange.
My problem was to find a CNG refill place here in Knoxville TN. To make a long story short, one of my fellow club members who has CNG on his older Sabre has worked out a deal with the local natural gas supplier. They have CNG for all of their service trucks. They made him an adapter to refill tanks. Of course he takes a few tanks with him from other club members for a refill. I told him I would go with him next time, as I want to learn the drill to get my tank refilled too. When I called the utility company previously, they told me they didn't refill tanks. so this must be an unofficial thing with the yard guys.
So here's my question: I'm looking for an extra tank. I haven't found one on the internet yet. I googled CNG and CNG tanks, and checked out at least 25 websites. I'll contact local welding supply places this week to find out if they can special order one.
So does anybody know where I can find a CNG tank? It's about the size of a scuba tank
Thanks
