While recovering the boat this weekend without using the trailer extension tongue, it occurred to me that it might be useful to have a bow ramp between the bow bunk and the keel support on the trailer.
I was thinking of removing the bow bunk platform, adding a couple of 4x2"s from the top of the bow bunk stanchion to the keel platform and covering them with bunk carpet. Basically replacing the thawtships trailer bow bunk with a pair of longitudinal beams. This would allow us to crank the bow up to the top of the bow bunk a lot easier.
