Hi there,
Well, I finally got fed up with the non working oven, and the hassles of trying to get CNG tanks filled, and getting it mounted into my lazarette. I ordered a new Force 10 range, aluminum tank, solenoid valves, splitter to run the Magma grill too.
Really expensive, but I assume it will help me keep up the value of the boat in the long run.
The stove has a feature which turns it off if the flame goes out. I'll install a solenoid switch on the tank too.
Any other advice on putting in a safe system? Yes I know, I should test all connections with a match too

Hi Dave,
The CNG tank was mounted in the lazarette of my Ericson by the manufacturer I would assume, or maybe the original boat dealer who commissioned the boat. It was almost totally unreachable, hence one of the reasons to chunk the system.
I'll mount the propane tank into the purpose built propane locker. It has the requisite 1/2" drain line for fumes, and it is totally isolated from the rest of the boat. I'll have to drill some holes and mount a couple of vapor tight pass thrus, one for the propane line, and one for the electrical wire to the solenoid.

I do like your acetylene torch idea. works much quicker.
