<font face='Comic Sans MS'><font size=2> I want to thank everyone who contributed to the August Mainsheet.
Douglas & Ruth Young wrote about Vashon Island and it appears in the “Destinations” section on page 17. Herb and Leslie Tripp wrote about their voyage from Maryland to Florida and back accompanied by “Pearl – The Wonder Dog”. It is set off with a gray background in our Association section. Fleets #3, #8, #92 and C250 fleet #1 all checked in with their summer activities. And of course our Commodore, Ed Jakubas brought us up to date on the Association news.
All of these contributions make our Mainsheet pages fun to read and keep our Association alive and well.
For the next issue we will hear about some members who went to the Catalina Rendezvous, it seems Richard Geist managed to make his trip a little more exciting than he intended to, read about it in November. We have a new fleet in the Portland, Oregon area that sounds like they are having quite an active summer so far.
I urge all the Fleet Captains to let me know how their summers have gone, we list allot of fleets that we haven’t heard from.
If you have gotten together with other C25/C250’s this summer let me know and I will include your stories in the magazine with a picture or two. If you have explored a new anchorage or harbor write a few words or paragraphs and share your adventures. The Mainsheet pages are only as interesting as the material that is sent in.
Again I thank everyone who sent material in. The deadline for the November issue is the first week in September which is coming up soon.

I second those THANKS! The C25/C250 contributions to Mainsheet were interesting reading - and looked great in the publication.

Thanks to all contributors. I especially enjoyed Herb Tripp's article in the Technical Notes on "Improving Mr Butler's original ideas".
