Very nice.
I Wonder what the lucky buyer will get it for.
Reminds me of the 61 chev Impala my brother bought from my uncle a few years ago. Sat in a garage most of the time and had 16,000 miles on it.

I like the idea of storing it in an airplane hanger out of season, and I understand why. A cousin of mine lives in Steamboat Springs, CO, a major ski resort. So far this season (October '07 to date), they have had 374" of snow. According to their website, the snow base on the slopes is 74" now.

Nice boat w/what seems like tender loving care. Seems a bit pricey...but then again it comes with a trailer !

It's #6000 1990
What was the last serial number for the Catalina 25 series ? 1990 the last year it was made ?

Gary - Our numbers are not so far off from the one advertised. Just a little sprucing up and we are right up with it !

it is a classic
and i think the price is more than fair.

i have an 88 that is in similar condition and would take the asking price as a minimum for my boat.

they don't make them like this any more.
what a shame.

i could sell mine in a heartbeat.

How's this for perspective...The five C25's at my marina were purchased for under 13K...combined.

Hmmm - I let an TR/SK get away for $1100 on a trailer. But I'm happy with the SR/FK I bought for over 6 times that.

A local guy has a dinette on kijiji for $6500 that I wouldn't give him $2500 for. I think it depends on the buyer, the boat, and the history.

I think internet pics can't tell the whole story, the only way to know what a boat is worth is to go and see it. You should see how much photoshop can whiten a hull...

I had an 89 #5933 that was in very good condition. Not Mint.
I had around 16K in it. Part of that cost was for a new trailer.

14,900 for a Mint 1990 . Yea, I would seriously consider it. the 1990 is 18 years old now. In Colorado at 5 months per year avg use, she really is only about 7.5 years old. Not bad.

Then again Bear_tm4 just sold his mint 1983 for 10 or less. There are nice ones out there of all years and configurations. You just have to keep an eye out.

I'll be back on the water soon.

I hope it's not the C25 that rolled over last July 4th on Lake Dillon with 25 people on board!

It would have to have marine air conditioning, new sails from a real loft, new canvas, perfect VC-17 bottom, newish 4 stroke ob, new standing rigging, new running rigging, new blocks, etc. At that price the boat should not need a dollar for five years, anything less and it is over priced. You can have my 89 and my Hobie Kayak for that money.

How much do you want for your 89 Frank?

Please don't say $14,900
