Hi Dave - Cloudveil was the name on my Endeavour 42 - since sold, but kept the name, it's kinda personal from my US Ski Team days, but that's another story. JohnW.
woo hoo, thanks for all of your help and advice. I picked up the 87 wing mentioned. Its a well taken care of girl, owned by a very nice couple. I cant belive how nice she is , I am so glad I followed advice here to wait, and look patiently.
Another piece of advice I received which proved invaluable was: Make sure you have all your finances and are ready to pull the trigger when the right boat comes around. My experience is 87's and older that are in great shape with trailers sell within a very short period of time. I contacted the PO within hours of the boat hitting the market and made arrangements to see the boat ASAP. The PO told me my timing was very good as he received numerous phone and emails. I am very lucky as this is just the boat I wanted (there's a Bruce on the bow and a Danforth anchor on the stern!) and the PO has offered to help me set her up the first time. Catalina owners are the bomb! She is being delivered to her new home today.
