any ideas how to cover the ugly holes left by the original guages that go to the left of the cabin entry,,
I took out the original knot meter,. and the dept sounder, bought a new gps/sounder combination, anybody have any pictures of there's so I can get some ideas

New gauges, or cut a piece of teak or starboard and cover the holes. Make it a mounting board for something else.

We just had a discussion on this very subject. Must be somewhere below in the General or Cat 25 Forum. Here's some photos - Used Starboard. Cut the circle using a scroll saw and beveled the edge with a router bit. Mounting Board inside the cabin prepared in much the same way. More details on my website regarding the fishfinder install.
