I think I have figured out why some people don't receive email that is sent to them via this Forum.
In the upper right-hand corner of the main "Forum" page, you'll find a link to each member's "Profile." If you'll click on that link, it'll ask for your user name and password. When you provide that information, it will open up your personal profile.
In the upper left-hand corner of the page, just under your email address, you'll see a block that says: "Allow Forum Members to Send you Email?" If that block says "No," then you won't be able to receive email through the Forum. If you change it to "Yes," you will be able to receive it.
Maybe someone has already figured that out and passed the word along to our members, but if so, I don't recall it. If not, you might want to post a notice on the forum, alerting members to that fact. Personally, I find it convenient to be able to send email to other members in that manner, and to receive them the same way.

Absolutely correct Steve. While I think it has been mentioned within a few other threads there hasn't been a complete post announcing it. Hopefully everyone will see this post and it will serve as the announcement.
