Can anyone tell me where to find a sail track stop for my 250 WK? I am looking for a replacement. I emailed Catalina several weeks ago for a part but no response. I have found after market stops in the usual places but they don't ever fit.
jim, send your email to chris@catalinayachts.com. he will answer you the same day. he's the parts guy! Or you can call him at 818-884-7700 x 259. (or just ask for chris). good luck!

Are you buying the correct size? (1/2" round, 3/8" round,...etc)
I found that the Davis ones fit in my sail track. I don't remember which size it was though, judging from the photo on that site, I think it's the smaller rectangular one. I'd go look for you, but it's pouring down snow & hail here. They're relatively inexpensive at WM, buy all three and take two back next time you go there.
Oh, and I hate to say it, but I've never gotten a response from Chris when I've asked questions.
we have ordered a few times from chris. he answered right away and we recieved our order in very short time. if you did not get a response with the email then call him at the number i gave you.

On my '97, it's a flat stop, but they may have changed mast extrusions since then. I'm pretty sure it's the smaller of the two flat stops, but don't quote me, the boat's thirty miles away and I can't easily check for you right now.
I tried the 1/2" round. It doesn't fit. I bought the small flat one and it works fine. I putit on oday. The package is still on teh boat. When I go back out tomorrow, I will get the part number for you.

Thanks, David,
I'll probably simply buy both sizes and then return whichever isn't correct.

If you can't get a part number, perhaps you could just get a rough measurement of the width. I think that the narrower stop is about 7/16" wide and the wider flat stop is about 3/4" side.
