After 20 years it is time to replace my deck plug and receptacle. it was cracked and one of the wires was off. The deck plug was not in good shape and would not make good contact. I replaced it with sea dog brand handled by Catalina direct. the part from the mast went ok but the deck was another story. It was into the deck solid w/silicone sealer. Had to dig it out. Then getting more wire out requires loosening the bulkhead and pulling some wire from the port side of the boat . What a chore. Done now for another 20 years I hope. The bulkhead trick was the key to getting the job done.
