Periodically people post their experiences with really good companies. This is such a post. My best friend has a Hunter 25.5 which came with moldy, ragged halyards, the boat could not leave the dock. Looking for the right combination of product and price took us to Cajun Trading Company and its president Gary d'Entremot. The process was simplified by the "kits" that are offered. Barbara bought the complete kit, two halyards, genoa sheets, and mainsheet. The lines came today and they are spectacular. The product, shipping and total experience has been better than I could have hoped for. I have used Layline for years and think the value of Cajun Trading Company is superior. I hope this recommendation helps some make a buying decision the next time they need cordage.
The current URL is http://www.cajuntrading.ca I understand a new site is in the works and I am hoping to put them on our links page when it is up and running.
Last year when I re-rigged my boat I used Cajun -- great people, excellent product, excellent service. Everything came through as promised and has worked flawlessly -- and at a great price. Others at my boat club have had similar, excellent service.
Thanks for weblink to Cajuntrading. I already replaced my main and genoa sheets but planning to replace the halyards some time this summer or fall. I saved the link.
