I put a tape measure on mine today. It looks like 1-3/4" ID marine exhaust hose.
HOWEVER... the way it is tucked under the stairs and next to the winch I couldn't get what I considered a good measurement on it... so don't completely trust what I'm telling you.
The cosmetic PVC pipe over it prevented me from reading the numbers off the hose too. :>(
I recently replaced the hose on my Cat25 after replacing the cable. I had received the hose from CD, and discovered that I needed to cut app 3-4 inched off the end so the hose could fit comfortable in place. My measurement of the ID is 1 inch 11/16 - - closer to 1-3/4 I'd say
I have a piece of PVC pipe around the hose for cosmetic function and to protect the hose.
BTW - I replaced the ball and pin: good thing because the groove in the ball was worn considerably.
