This boat is ready to sail! Go sailing today!
We bought this sweet little boat last year as a first keel boat after sailing a 16 foot dinghy. We have been sailing her continuously since (except for January when it was too cold). She's a great boat for the Columbia river. Big enough to feel safe and comfortable when sailing to weather, but small and light enough to be lively and fun in light wind. We hate to let her go, but we just bought a 34 foot sailboat and we don't need two sailboats. We would love to find a new owner that is going to get out, sail and enjoy her as much as we have.

We've done lots of little projects to make her nice. She has new Sunbrela covers including complete cabin top cover to keep her dry. There are new covers on the main settee cushions, new memory foam mattress topper in the king sized V-bert and re-finished teak and holly veneer floor sole. She will comfortably sleep 4 large adults, double in the huge v-berth and 2 singles on the settee quarter berths. The "galley" has a small sink and we added an Origo Heat Pal combination one burner stove and cabin heater that works great for making coffee and poached eggs the morning. There is comfortable "sitting" head room and with the 9 ft beam there is tons of well laid out storage and a porta poti.

She has mostly all new running rigging, lines and halyards including new Sampson XLS Extra-T low stretch main and jib halyards. There are still a few little things that could be done to make her even nicer, but that is part of the fun of owning a sailboat (you have to have something to do at the dock when the wind isn't blowing).

She has a complete set of Dacron cruising sails with older but quality North Sails main, 154 Genoa, 135 working jib, nylon .75 oz. spinnaker, new(April 2008) North Sails 100 blade jib and an older but seldom used Smith storm jib. We put on a new Harken racing head foil this spring for the headsails. These sails are fine for daysailing or just cruising up and down the river. If you want to race her then you would probably want to pick up a new racing mainsail.

She has a 5 hp Honda outboard, anchor, life jackets and all the other stuff you need. No Trailer.

To see her call Dan at cell 503-488-0369 or home 503-669-9799 or email further questions.

wow, we're going to miss your posts -- ugliest spinnaker ?

I drove from NH to MN to pick up my boat and drove her to her new home. I've now sailed the boat 7 times (most of my experience on larger boats). This is my favorite boat!

Your price sounds fair. I suspect no trailer will be an issue unless you can sell local. When I was evaluating a next boat, the capri 25 came up #1 (I want to race, and have a wife and handicapped daughter that do not). Low freeboard = easy on at the dock, large floor area in cabin = good place for my daughter (with cushions) to hang. OMG do they scream!

Yes I am really struggling with selling the boat. So tempting to buy a new main sail for the Capri and put together a racing team for the weeknight beer cans. There isn't a law against owning two boats is there? But alas, disposable income is being gobbled up quickly by the new boat.
