I have misplaced my OEM track stop for my 1980 Capri 25. This goes in the slot on the mast below the boom and holds it in place from falling. I purchased a new one from the local supplier but it was 1/2 inch round and did not work. I guess I need 3/8 per drawings recently found. I have looked on line and throughout West Marine catalogues and no luck. Anyone have any ideas where to purchase, or how to make home fix. Thank you. RonE

When doing some looking for a way to keep my cruising mainsail (aka has slugs and such) I stumbled on this:

Davis seems to be the company that makes them and I know they had 3/8" diameter ones

Thank you for your reply. I actually purchased this already, but it is to big of a diameter of 1/2 inch. Apparently the slot is 3/8". I am thinking about using a grinder to reduce the size and make it fit. I hate ruining the factory finish on anything as it serves as a protective layer that sometimes cannot be duplicated. RonE

I actually found a flat track stop from Davis that fits the round groove in the mast. It appears to be the smallest one they make. This advice for others with the same problem. $9. RonE
