I stepped my mast before checking my running lights and sheeves. Now I have to repair. Does anyone have an inexpensive but good bosns' chair for sale. RonE.

I've done emergency jobs with a bowline on a bight. Just don't take too long sitting in it.

If you need to extend your stay in the bowline, run the line through a piece of one of those floating bright colored foam 'noodles' that you use in the pool. I rigged a life sling with it and it works great.

How about a 2X6 with a bowline on either side of it. When we were kids we called it a swing.
