Mint Condition 1977 Catalina 25 – FULLY EQUIPED

I am moving out of state and cannot take my baby with me.

This boat is in amazing shape and has TONS of upgrades.

“Summit Oasis” is a pleasure to sail – One of Frank Buttler’s most popular boats with over 6,000 Catalina 25’s sold! Great for folks new to sailing (very forgiving) and also great for those looking to race.

She has wonderful lines, a HUGE cockpit – with room to seat 6 comfortably.

She also has a great cabin / interior – ideal for weekend get ways – with a head, galley and amazing sleeping accommodations (in fact, the interior is larger than most 30 foot boats)

CABIN
• Popular & sought after dinette model – seats 4 - 6 people – great for seating the entire family for dinner or playing cards!
• Nice sized galley with 2 plate gas stove with 5 gal tank, large ice box, sink with pressure water
• Shore power with new shore power cord
• Porta-potti
• Pop top makes for 6’4 head room!
• Pop top canvas cover with windows in great condition – great for over night trips
• All interior cushions in great condition
• Large V-berth sleeps two comfortably
• Dinette converts to double bed
• Quarter berth in the back
• Light and bright cabin with pop top and front hatch open – also tons of lights for over night trips
• Two deep cycle batteries
• New nautical themed curtains

COCKPIT
• Cockpit is large enough to seat 6 adults comfortably
• Cockpit has comfortable cushions that are in great shape
• All lines lead aft – (halyards, roller furling line, sheets) eliminating the need to ever leave the cockpit
• Balanced mahogany/oak rudder (1.5 years old)
• Mahogany engine mount
• Compass and electronic depth gauge

HULL
• Popular swing keel makes for easy launching / retrieving
• Keel hangers, keel cable, winch and handle replaced 1 year ago
• Hull (below water line) power washed and painted this spring with VC-17
• Hull (above water line) buffed, waxed and stripes re-pained this spring – see fire engine red strips!!
• Hull is in great shape – no accidents, bumps, scratches – again, proof that this boat has been VERY well cared for – she’s our baby!

SAILS & RIGGING
• New - CDI roller furler with 135 Genoa both 1 season. Once you have a roller furler you will never go back – makes reefing a breeze – and eliminates the need to fold the head sail at the end of the day
• Main replaced (1991) in great shape & professionally cleaned last year.
• New main sail cover (this spring)
• New roller furler cover (last year)
• All lines lead to the cockpit – makes for easy single handed sailing
• Mast checked every spring and in great shape
• Standing Rigging (shrouds) replaced 1 month ago from Catalina Direct
• New Windex (1 month ago)

ENGINE
• 9.9 Horse Power Mercury Engine with electric start – This is the most reliable outboard I have ever owned. Tuned up every spring, starts every time with the push of a button, does not stall when idling.
• This is a great engine for this boat – gets you off the dock and onto the water with ease.

ADDITIONAL (again, I will give you EVERYTHING that you need to get out sailing)
• Dual Axel trailer
• New 22lb anchor with 15' 5/8 chain and 2x60' rode
• Dock lines and 4 fenders
• Life Jackets
• 2008 Colorado registration paid for
• 2008 season mooring paid for on beautiful Lake Dillon – Frisco Bay Marina

As you can see, this is a great boat, at an amazing price – LITERALLY, you have everything you need to get out on the water.

I have over 20 years sailing experience and I am more than happy to provide lessons to get you going!

***also available – 11 foot fiberglass dingy (freshly pained this spring) and 1.5 year old Nissan 5 horse power – 4 stroke engine. $850

Please call or e-mail and I can send you pictures.

Make me an offer

Cheers,

Hi Chuck

Sounds great, I'd love to see some pictures. Where is the boat and what time of year can it be sailed in? What is your price range?

Cheers Mike
