Still working on pictures.
They saw Minke whales off Walden Island...Disney point....nephew has now finished editing the pictures.

15 bucks a nite what a steal....either take your dinghy or you can swim to shore and pay your fee.

Paul,

Nice pix! I would call Mount Baker a "sorta landmark," too. In my sailing venue there is a spot called Mountain Point, elevation 20 ft., consisting mainly of a long sand bar off the end of Gibson Island.

Was the water temperature high enough to swim for normal people, or did you need Viking fearlessness to take the plunge?

Some kids and adults were swimming near shore.
I'm going back next month....I'll activate the temperature feature on the depth gage and check it out.

We plan to leave Anacortes next Tuesday and head for Sucia where we will spend a night or two before heading to the Canadian Gulf Islands for a two week cruise vacation. Keeping our fingers crossed for good weather.
