Amazing how many odd little boats there are along the English coast. I had been impressed with the variety around Annapolis, but we don't get boats like the "Beach Hut" or the one with companionway hatch windows made with diamond-shaped pieces of glass, in old English style.
A contrast...all we get out here are Mac's and Cat's. BTW - the snow we had in the mountains a week ago is pretty much all gone - now it's in the lake.
Notice how, in that tidal river, all of the boats were facing the same direction, based on the tidal flow? We saw that in one of the port towns in England, incoming tide and all of the boats are facing the sea; outgoing tide and they have all swung around to face upriver and the ones too close to shore are in the mud.
