p.s. When all else fails, read the instructions:) Here are the answers to the administrator's questions.
1. As long as I have owned it, it has sailed in fresh water. Before that, it sat on the hard for two years and had Pennsylvania registration--which means it probably sailed in fresh water before that. 2. No trailer. 3. I'm selling it to buy a faster racing boat. 4. I forgot to mention it's got a new keel winch, cable, turning ball, and hose.
I looked at a bunch of C-25's before I bought this one. I had her professionally surveyed, and found everything to be sound.
My new boat is an S2 7.9. I hauled her home to Falls Church, VA from Chattanooga, TN the weekend before Christmas.
I sail in a Tuesday night race series on the Potomac River (currently in the non-spin class). There are a couple of other 7.9's on the river who often win the spinnaker class races. There is also a 7.9 class in the Annapolis NOOD, where I will eventually compete.
Check out the article in Sailing World about the S2-7.9 Nationals that were held in Nashville this past October.I was on chase boat duty, mostly at the windward mark, but still had a blast. I know one guy in Chattanooga who was selling an S2-7.9. Do you mind saying who sold it to you?
