Yup. That's the original, made by Garhauer. Check with them and/or with Catalina Direct, who sells the upgraded version of it. Both are on the Web... Somebody will have springs.

NO the spring is assembled on the arm and then the arm is welded. There are two ways to fix this and stay original. Purchase an old mount from someone here on the site and remove the arm of the old unit and put it on yours. The other way is to send it to Garhauer and they will rebuild the arm. I bought a mount someone had under their work bench for $25. I bought new teflon busshings in the plumbing section of the local hardware store and new bolts were easy to find.
that sure looks like the one I put on my 78 Cat. back in 1985 when I bought my first Yamaha 4 stroke 9.9. I got it through the Cat dealer at the time to upgrade from my "original" which was much more flimsy. I'm on my second Yamaha 9.9 and I am VERY happy with this bracket. It has been so sturdy and reliable. I even trailer with the engine on, although I tie the engine up to the stern rail to take the tension off the bracket. I would highly recommend this bracket.
As Garhauer is not too far away, I think I'll let them rebuild it. They seemed very helpful and quoted me $30 over the phone for a new "H" piece with spring attached. New bushings and install might push it to $40.
He said a whole new bracket is $159 and is four-stroke friendly (they sell lots to Catalina Yachts). Hmmm.
As I am of the geriatric sailor model, with what appears to be a complete disappearance of muscles to rely on, I put a three part simple tackle to the bracket, which is an original, just like yours. The spring (single) was so weak it was very little help. A new spring is at the bottom of the work list, but it is a very, very long list. I believe you will be pleased with a Garhauer rebuild, best, ron c25 sk sr Orion, SW Fla.
Garhauer's web site said it's $170.50. "Mark" in customer service quoted the lower price.
I never thought the spring helped much either, until it broke! However, I'll wait till November to take the mount in for the rebuild -- I'm having too much fun sailing now. While it's certainly not easy to raise and lower my engine with muscles alone, having a lighter 2-stroke helps.
